We hosted a successful mangrove planting and community forum in Kinyaule with partners Mtwapa Maweni Turtle Conservation Project, UCESCO Africa– and local community groups.
We discussed conservation successes and challenges faced by our coastal communities, brainstorming tested solutions ready for scaling as we enter the new year. Community members pledged continued commitment to biodiversity monitoring, turtle conservation, and plastic waste management.
The overwhelming support and interest in ongoing projects, along with the community’s willingness to co-create new conservation approaches, signals strong momentum toward effective climate action.
