Our mission is to promote environmental conservation and economically empower communities in Kenya through the protection and sustainable management of marine and aquatic ecosystems, including inland freshwater resources, while advancing sustainable livelihood opportunities.
-
We advance sustainable fisheries management through science, community engagement, and responsible governance to promote healthy oceans, sustainable resource use, and resilient coastal communities.
-
We empower youth and promote entrepreneurship by strengthening skills, supporting innovation, and creating opportunities that unlock inclusive growth within the blue economy.
-
We strengthen livelihoods and social inclusion by promoting equitable access to ocean resources, supporting resilient communities, and advancing gender-responsive and inclusive development.
- We drive blue economy innovation and climate action through partnerships, technology, and sustainable solutions that contribute to ocean resilience and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
